To deepen in the discussion about the concepts of CULTURE, IDENTITY and HERITAGE we'll watch the documentary “Baraka”, created by Ron Fricke and produced by Mark Magidson in 1992.
The doc runs without comments or storytelling sharing images filmed in 24 countries. The narrative is developed by scene montages and sequences, backed-up and enhaced by music and sound. In its contents raised a critical glance about the industrial culture and the loss of spiritual values in our modern society.
There is a discussion among cultures, religions, human relations and its natural surroundings fostering a critical reflection about the industrial society, its ways of generating violence, the constructiona and preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage
